21 SEP ’16 – LJ da Funk – The Water Poet
Special Guest Headliner: LJ da Funk
LJ DA FUNK (Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year Winner 2015) is a self-styled southern-fried gangster, boisterously blending sex, silliness and satire in a melting pot of mayhem. LJ is known for peppering his routines with provocative politics and audience-shout-along catchphrases that often make his act seem like a festive pantomime co-directed by Chris Morris and DMX.
“There’s a fine line between genius and insanity. LJ DA FUNK has crossed that line and kicked it to death” – The List
“Relished every minute of it, an infectiously enjoyable quality” –Steve Bennett, Chortle
“Deceptively Clever” – Bruce Dessau, Beyond the Joke”Definitely One to Watch” – Broadway Baby
